To make this topic interesting u can  create an animal or plant cell with your student by using agar-agar, bean, colour jelly, agar-agar stripe.

how to do it:

boil the agar-agar until dissolve in plain water, ( u can add yellow food colour to make it look nice), then put it in a cup ( represent cell)

before the agar-agar set, arrange the bean (coloured beans will represent different organelles) and agar stripe as they are nucleus and organelles.

when the agar-agar is set, you will have a nice cell semi solid cell with organelles embedded inside.
